Update on my neck
I had my stitches removed yesterday. I am doing ok. My neck is really swollen, it hurts to yawn and sneeze, and my bottom lip is numb. Other than that I am ok. The results are not in as to the exact nature of the growth, but we do know it was a fungal infection, maybe caused by cat scratch disease. I am not sold on that one though. We should know more when I call the doctor in two weeks to see what the cultures grew.

Fungal infections are not fun, but treatable with good long term prognosis. Sorry you are feeling bad, but glad it doesn’t look too serious.
