Home from Surgery

Heather is home after her surgery this morning.  The doctor said that the mass was a little bigger (2 inches) and a little deeper than he thought it would be.  She also has some other enlarged lymph nodes in the area (about half the size of your pinkie nail) that he left in.  Once the tests and biopsies come back then we’ll figure out what, if anything, needs to be done about them.  She is in bed resting now, she has a sore throat and is drowsy but is doing okay otherwise.

Thanks for all your prayers and good thoughts for us.  We’ll keep you posted.

Heather – We love you so much. We thank God for the initial positive reports on the pathology (leaning strongly toward NO CANCER) results. We will all continue to pray for good news as the final results are received in coming weeks.

You are a wonderfully strong woman with a fantastic husband and adorable sons. Mark is a great husband and angel with his strength and support. Little Mr. Camden wants to help his mommy so much! And sweet Mr. Carsten could cure the problems of the world with his sweet eye-crunching smile. We love you honey!

We will continue to keep you in prayer for the outcome of the biopsies. Rest well (not that that’s easy with three active men around!).
