2+2+2= NO SLEEP!

Two boys with two ear infections and two trips to the doctors!  Yikes!  We are very sleepy people around here.

Both my guys have had colds this week.  Then Wed night Carsten did not sleep and he would just cry and cry, so I took him to the doctor on Thurs.  Ear Infection!

Then last night Camden woke up SCREAMING!!!! and complaining about his ear.  So we paid a visit to the new Emergency Hospital.  There he was diagnosed with an outer ear infection and a middle ear infection.  Poor kid!  They gave him tylenol with codine before we left and the got us a few hours of sleep, but when that wore off the screaming returned.  After some regular tylenol he went back to sleep.

That is the latest around here.  Please keep my boys in your prayers!

Kids and earaches seem to go together, don’t they!

Dom had one when they stayed with us a few years ago when we were in So. Cal for 19 months. I had taken him to the ER but couldn’t find one that would take Dayna & Chris’s insurance so drove all over town to find one that would. In the meantime my mom had called the prayer chain at church to put us on it as lost. I had told her we would be down for lunch, didn’t make it & didn’t call. She was one worried great-grandma! She didn’t tell me she put us on the prayer chain until we got to church Sunday and several people said they we were glad we were all right….I didn’t know what the heck they were talking about!! So you’ll be taking grandkids one day to the doctor for those awful earaches.

They sure have my sympathy! I had my eardrum lanced when I was a kid,and I still remember it as being one of the most painful things I’ve every experienced. Hope they gave you some Auralgan in addition to the Tylenol.

Has Camden been swimming with Nathan? You know that Lauren has had Swimmer’s Ear; miserable, painful things. I’m sorry for all four of you.

Well, that is a loaded question! Camden is feeling good enough to be quite a brat! Carsten seems to be getting worse yesterday and last night. I foresee a doctor’s appointment in my furture!

I took Carsten back to the doctor and his ear infection was not cleared yet and I am supposed to watch for more symptoms. If he gets worse then I have a new Rx to give him.

Camden is doing great! He is back at school…wonder what virus he will bring home this week?
