6 Stitches!

Mark sliced his thumb tonight with a razor cutter. So off to Urgent Care we went. It was quite a slice too! Mark was very brave and now has a current tetanus shot! Thanks to Brian and Carrie for watching the boys!

    I’m thinking of you, Mark, and hoping that it won’t incapacitate you for very long. That makes me shudder. Any cut on hands or head are such a nuisance.

    I saw Mark yesterday with the big bandage on his hand. It almost looked like a cast for a broken thumb.

    You have to be careful around sharp knives!

    Update- He still has stitches and it still hurts. They will be removed next Tuesday.

    Stitches are out and his thumb looked good to the doctor. It is still a little sore and sensitive.

    How’s Mark’s thumb? I did that to my index finger several years ago. It was with a kitchen knife. I got 6 stitches, too. The doctor was so good at sewing it up, you can hardly see the scar. It was a hassle not getting it wet, and I got teased about my big bandage, too.
