Quick Post

We had a blast in NYC and went from Harlem in upper Manhatten to the water to visit our Statue of Liberty. We walked from Time Square to Rockerfella Center up to FAO Schwartz in Central Park. The boys did great and we rode the Hop On Hop Off bus all over town. We went to the memorial for 9/11 aqnd the World Trade Centers. It was good but sad. I can’t imagine how grand the towers were when they stood. We went to the top of the Empire State building and looked out over the city. Truly AMAZING! We had dinner one night in Little Italy and one night at the Stage Door Deli. We travelled by car to Hamburg yesterday and hung out at the house today. More details and pictures to come!

Quick Urgent Care visit today for Carsten. He wouldn’t walk on his foot. His ankle was swollen and bruised so he obviously hurt it somehow. They took x-rays and all looked good. With rest all day (riding in the stroller or daddy’s arms) he put some weight on it this evening and was running with a limp after the dog. Visited Pumpkinville for a bit and carved a pumpkin this evening. Lots of fun!

I’m glad you rode the HOHO bus. It’s a great way to see the City. Sounds like you guys saw much more than we did, as we only had one day there. I’d like to go back some day and take in a Broadway show.

Take lots of pictures of the fall foliage. Can’t wait to see them all!

Glad Carsten is okay. Have a safe and fun last two days.

Aren’t you glad you have that stroller? Little legs get tired, too.

Happy Birthday to your Mom! I’m glad you got to carve a pumpkin. You probably don’t remember, (and I have no idea where the picture is,) the year we took you around the country all summer, Pat Riley had left one pumpkin in their patch, just so you could pick it.

    Hi Heather

We want you back. The only thing I have found so far was a chestnut in the Falcon Space Shuttle. Please tell Han Solo that Princess Lala will keep it in the space cabin until his return.

We had such a wonderful time. Lee and I were talking about it all day today.

I am looking at your temperature and it is the same as Hamburg. Cool day for Phoenix.

I have emailed my pictures today so I should receive them by the end of the week. I will forward you the copies.

Love you and miss you all–Aunt Traci
