Big Boy Bed!

On Sat the Reed’s gave us Lauren’s old bed. She had hardly used it because it was difficult for her to sleep on since it was firm. They got her a softer mattress and sent the other full size home with us. On Sunday I put sheets and a quilt on it. Sunday night Carsten refused to go in his crib. He slept in the big bed all night. He did great! I checked on him a bunch just to make sure. This morning he laid in bed and called me. I am sure that won’t last long. We are very proud of him! I don’t have a baby anymore! 🙁

Sure! Three is fine, and after that, I think that you get kinda numb.

Did you say you kinda get Dumb or kinda get numb? I would think after 3 one would wonder. That said I’m really glad you didn’t stop at 3. If you had there would be no Donna!

So, child number five, where would that leave you? Isn’t it a strange feeling to know that you may be here only because science progressed slowly?

I wish I could roll back time. Greats are the next generation I have to look forward to and that won’t, hopefully, happen for awhile.

Wow, you’re waiting for your greats, and I don’t even have any grands yet. Not that I’m pushing my kids — I’m not in any hurry for either of them to start having babies.

Is Carsten still staying in his bog boy bed until you get up?

No, we have had a couple of rough nights and nap times. We might have to put a gate up at his door.
