Happy Thanksgiving!

Tomorrow is Turkey day!  Our family has so much to be thankful for!  We hope that whatever your plans are that you enjoy the day and don’t stress over anything!  That is my personal goal this year!

We are cooking at our house this year.  Mark’s parents will join us too!  This is really good because our 10-yr old dog, Bailey, just had a large tumor removed.  We should know by Friday what it was and how to treat her further, whether with chemotherapy or radiation.  She is doing well.  Her pain doesn’t seem to bad and she is back to her loving self!

We may go out this Black Friday not really to grab the deals, but just to have fun and take it all in!  Enjoy your weekend!

Dear old Bailey–You have had her lots longer than Mark, Camden or Carsten! She isn’t old by big dog standards. I hope it’s benign, and that she has many more happy days ahead.

Actually, Mark got her a few months after we started dating, so technically I have had Mark longer.

They have already done a biopsy and it is cancerous, we just don’t know what kind.

We haven’t chatted in a while, but what are you doing for thanksgiving?

So did you fry your turkey? If so, how did it come out? We did a couple of years ago. It was good but when you have to spend $30 just for the oil it gets pretty expensive!

Dayna bought a precooked one from the market this year. Boy was it tender, tasty & juicy!

We did the precooked from Albertsons this year. It was a lot less work and pretty tasty.

Keep us up to date about Bailey; after all, she is a member of the family.

We also did the Albertsons meal and then made our favorite additional sides! It was a precooked butterball, really moist and juicy!
