Team Balch

I have heard that if you call your family a team and create a team feeling your children will be less affected by peer pressure to smoke, do drugs, make bad choices. The idea of a team standing behind them gives them courage to say no, because they are not alone.

Team Balch does not smoke.
Team Balch does not do drugs.
Team Balch is nice to each other.
etc.

So in the car on the way home we created a team cheer/chant. Here it goes:

We are the mighty, mighty – TEAM BALCH

We are the mighty, mighty – TEAM BALCH

We are the mighty, mighty – TEAM BALCH

and we stay together to win–TEAM BALCH!

Sometimes I wonder when you sleep; you are always coming up with new ideas. When they grow up, I hope the boys will know what great parents they had.

Go Team! That is a great idea. The word “TEAM” is powerful because it gives each member a feeling of belonging, value and empowerment. I use “TEAM” rather than “employees” or “staff” or “CSRs” in dealing with business (which I call “organizations”). It is a very strong word. Nice job! Love
