Wow! That was quite a storm!

I was leaving a meeting at 3:00 this afternoon and had to wait for it to stop raining sideways before leaving. I thought I would go early to get a good spot for Kindergarten pick up. Well, I was not the only person with that idea. It was crazy! A tree at the school had been blown down and recycle bins all over the neighborhood were on their sides and in the middle of the street. There is another storm in the forecast for tomorrow. I love storms!

I rarely hear things outside in the office building I’m in, but we heard that storm raging this afternoon. It was a whopper! DELICIOUS!

We got just a few sprinkles when I was on my way home from playing cards, just before 3:00 PM. It quit before 3:20 when I went back for dinner. It looked as though south and west of here got more than we did. I guess you did! I didn’t hear any thunder, just enough wind to make the leaves move.

I still say that we don’t get nearly as much rain as areas around here. Some say it’s because of Twin Peaks; we really could use more.

The paper said there were floods down near Brian’s house. I guess I would have heard by now if they had had any problems…?
