This evening after bath time, Camden and Carsten were writing a Get Well card to their friend Sinjan. Sinjan got hit in the face with a swing and needed stitches in his cheek. The boys were over at Sinjan’s house while Mark and I were out to dinner. So Camden was using the marker drawing a very special picture. Here is the dialog:
Carsten “Me use that marker when you all done Tamden”
Camden: “Ok”
Carsten (tapping his finger to his cheek): “Waiting…waiting…waiting…You all done?”
Camden: “No”
Carsten (tapping his finger to his cheek): “Waiting…waiting…waiting…You all done?”
Camden: “No”
Carsten (tapping his finger to his cheek): “Waiting…waiting…waiting…You all done?”
It was so cute! I couldn’t bear to make him wait any longer so I got him another marker.

Last Saturday we went to the pet adoptions being held at Petsmart. Camden found Abbie and she came home with us that very day. She is a sweet now 7 week old Boxer Mix. She is tiny, tipping the scales at 4 lbs. Here are a couple pictures of her:

School has been going well. We had a couple rough days but now things seem to be getting better. I drop Camden off at the curb to the school and that seems so much better for our separation.
Carsten has been doing great in speech and we are already talking about dismissal! Yeah! He loves going to Ms. Angela’s on Mon and Wed
We went to Pine about 2 weeks ago and had a blast. It rained a lot while we were there. We enjoyed the 72º weather and watching the rain on the porch. The boys collected bugs and checked them out using Camden’s microscope.
Mark and I are looking into going a gym. We have been trying out Mountainside Fitness. We like it so far. Costco has a great deal on membership there so we might go with that!
